By accessing or participating in the EVX Connect Development Program, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Purpose of EVX Connect
EVX Connect is an exclusive development portal provided for EVX customers. It exists to provide firmware updates, development information, bug tracking, feature discussions, documentation, and direct communication between the All Terrain EVX development team and customers.
Our goal is to provide a secure and controlled environment where development can occur efficiently while allowing customers to contribute valuable feedback.
2. Account Access
Your EVX Connect account is issued for your personal use only.
You agree that you will not:
- Share your username or password with any other person.
- Allow another person to access EVX Connect using your account.
- Transfer, sell, or otherwise provide your account to another party.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Sharing Information
We encourage customers to discuss EVX, share their experiences, and help grow the community.
You are welcome to discuss topics such as:
- Features currently under development.
- Bugs you have encountered.
- Your testing experiences.
- General information about EVX.
- Your opinions and feedback.
- Public discussions about EVX on forums, Facebook groups, YouTube, or other social media platforms.
However, to protect the value of EVX Connect for customers, you agree not to publicly distribute or reproduce content taken directly from EVX Connect.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Screenshots of EVX Connect pages.
- Copying and pasting forum posts, documentation, or announcements word-for-word.
- Firmware files.
- Downloads or resources available through EVX Connect.
- Internal development documents.
- Any other content intended exclusively for EVX Connect members.
Instead, we ask that you explain information in your own words rather than reproducing the original content.
4. Firmware and Resources
Firmware, software, documentation, downloads, and other resources provided through EVX Connect remain the intellectual property of All Terrain EVX unless otherwise stated.
These resources are supplied exclusively for registered EVX customers and must not be redistributed, mirrored, re-hosted, or shared with non-customers without prior written permission.
5. Community Conduct
We aim to maintain a positive and constructive development community.
Members are expected to:
- Provide respectful and constructive feedback.
- Report bugs honestly and accurately.
- Respect the opinions of other members.
- Help improve EVX through testing and discussion.
Harassment, abusive behaviour, or intentionally disrupting the community may result in suspension or termination of access.
6. Development Program
By requesting an EVX Connect account and entering the EVX development program, you acknowledge that your EVX hardware has been allocated specifically to you.
From this point, any deposit previously paid becomes non-refundable, as it is committed towards your allocated EVX hardware. You also agree to pay any outstanding balance when requested so that your allocated hardware can be completed and prepared for delivery.
Your participation in EVX Connect forms part of the active EVX development program and provides access to development resources, firmware updates, feedback channels, and ongoing product improvements.
By participating, you acknowledge that:
- Features may be added, changed, or removed.
- Development firmware may contain bugs or unfinished functionality.
- Information published within EVX Connect may change as testing and development continue.
7. Suspension or Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to EVX Connect if we reasonably believe these terms have been breached, including but not limited to:
- Sharing account credentials.
- Redistributing firmware or exclusive resources.
- Reproducing EVX Connect content outside the community without permission.
- Behaviour that compromises the integrity or security of the development program.
8. Our Philosophy
We do not want to discourage discussion or enthusiasm surrounding EVX.
In fact, we encourage customers to share what they are learning, discuss new features, promote EVX, and participate in conversations throughout the wider 4WD and BYD community.
Our only request is that content created specifically for EVX Connect remains within EVX Connect. Please avoid reproducing posts, screenshots, downloads, or other exclusive resources outside the platform. By explaining information in your own words instead of copying it directly, you help preserve the value of the community while still allowing ideas and knowledge to be shared.
